In mid-2010 I moved to Prague from London with my husband. I’m slowly learning to speak the language.
I keep busy by working, writing, running, cycling and exploring some of the many things this magical city has to offer.
My blog includes content on expat living, my personal experiences in Prague and friends and family. I contribute to expats.cz, writing articles on art and theatre and cafe reviews. Click here to see them.
I also write for the Guardian travel site “BeenThere” and featured earlier this year on the BBC radio programe From Our Own Correspondent.

Hi, great blog, really good read. I’m a us expat, sailed across the Atlantic with my husband in 2002, packed and unpacked our boxes from Rome to Paris, now Amsterdam.
We’re thinking of moving to Prague, I’ll be there from the 27th- 13st. If you have time for coffee, would very much like to meet up. Very familiar with expat life, know nothing of Prague…; )

Just came back to the Czech Rep. after living 6 years abroad (never lived in Prague though) and feel like an expat by myself
